Friend had a terrible experience, bad workmanship and the Guarantee did not cover copper pipes. These were not excluded in the terms and conditions document received at installation. Daiken will not cover warranty if any problems due to poor workmanship. Will have to go to VCAT to get satisfaction. I certainly would not trust these tradesman!
Service was good, I just felt a bit 'fleeced', but if your heater has broken down, what can you do I guess! The labour rate worked out to about $240 per hour (taking into account 20 mins travel) and the part (an igniter) cost me $275 (which I price checked at a couple of suppliers post the replacement at $130 retail). So excluding the $240 call out fee, replacing an igniter in an 8 year old central heater cost me $595, which I thought was expensive
The folk at Holloway air and electrical were friendly and helpful from start to finish. The team installing the air con were efficient, professional, polite and respectful. All went really smoothly in spite of one small hiccup, but a solution was found quickly to everyones satisfaction. There was no mucking around, they just got on with the job. Well done all. I have no problems recommending holloway air and electrical.

When my 35yo gas heater got decommissioned on the 1st day of winter, they were the quickest company to respond to my request for a quote and were the one to offer the quickest instalment time. Fast efficient with no fuss. I had heating again in 10days. The other companies were telling me it would be 4 weeks
