Illawarra Hot Water & Same Day Hot Water

Properties requiring a replacement or upgraded hot water system have generated detailed accounts of this business, and the same strengths emerge consistently. A handful of customers describe the process as smooth from the first enquiry through to commissioning, with the plumber and electrician arriving at the agreed time and finishing efficiently, often within a couple of hours. A recurring theme is the neatness of the completed work, with sites left clean and tidy. Competitive pricing, quoted without hidden costs, is a point that comes up often, alongside the friendliness and professionalism of the tradespeople on site, including Hamish and the crew who handled one job.

Owners of gas hot water tanks, Aquamax 390SS units and an iStore270 highlight the advice given when a straightforward like-for-like replacement proved impossible, with alternative options and fresh quotes provided before any decision. One account describes a pressure valve being replaced as a goodwill gesture after the warranty had expired, which was received as beyond expectation. Enquiries about hot water appliance upgrades were managed without hassle from order through to installation and handover.

I am extremely satisfied with SDHS from the moment I contacted them to installation and commissioning. The Plumber and Electrician were very professional and did a great job . They arrived on time and completed the work in around two hours and left the site clean. Their price was very competitive with no hidden costs. I can recommend them highly

Thank you to Sale & Install teams at Same Day Hot Water Service. A smooth transition from a gas hot water tank to a new heat pump hot water system at my property will not happen without their competences.

The team installed iStore270 in my house, the installation was smooth and the team was great to deal with, After a while we noticed the hot water pressure dropped, and it was out of guarantee, but the team happily replaced the pressure valve as a good gesture! it was truly beyond our expectation, thank you I definitely recommend them.

Extremely satisfied with pricing and installation. The process right from enquiry up until installation was seamless without any hassle. Will definitely recommend for any hot water appliance upgrade or installation.

One of the most incompetent and careless businesses I have ever dealt with. What should have been a simple purchase and installation of one system turned into a complete mess. I had to call their office three separate times just to correct my receipt because they kept making basic errors. First the wrong model was written, then the wrong price, then the description of the work was incorrect and the totals were wrong as well. The level of disorganisation is unbelievable. Even more concerning was the breach of privacy. On two different occasions they emailed me receipts that belonged to other customers, including their names, addresses and contact details. That is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of professionalism and data handling. To make matters worse, I specifically ordered a natural gas system and my receipt clearly stated natural gas. Yet they delivered and installed an LPG system instead. Because of their mistake I then had to wait again for the correct system to be replaced. All of this chaos happened during the purchase of just one system. It honestly makes you question how this business is being run. If these were my employees, they would not last long. The carelessness and lack of accountability is shocking. Either the owner has no idea what is happening in their business, or they do and are choosing to ignore it. Both are equally concerning. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend people look elsewhere.

Excellent and prompt service received from Illawarra Hot Water when they replaced and installed our hot water system.Their representative Cameron was very helpful and professional in providing the service and installation

I required a new hot water tank. IHW suggested three options. After agreeing on a Rheem the new tank was installed very professionally. I would recommend IHW to anyone requiring a new hot water tank.
