Mcgrath plumbing & gas

Projects of varying scale, from small household repairs to multi-stage builds, feature throughout the feedback for James McGrath and his team, and the same strengths surface again and again. Work described spans gas and water plumbing, hot water system replacement, and the renewal of guttering, fascias and downpipes on homes and garages, including one complex roof-related job carried through to an excellent finish.

One thing mentioned again and again is how swiftly problems are diagnosed and resolved, whether a stormwater pipe clogged with a heavy tangle of roots or a failed hot water unit replaced the following morning after an evening call. Several accounts note punctual attendance, quotes supplied without delay, and jobs staged across several days to fit around a larger project. Communication is praised on both sides of the work, with customers kept informed as the job progresses.

The guidance offered is described as practical and matched to the task, and the pricing is characterised as reasonable. James himself is named frequently, with his professional manner and warmth noted, along with a habit of flagging related issues worth attention, while the broader team is called efficient and friendly on everything from maintenance visits to full replacements. Smaller repairs such as a leaking sink trap were completed neatly.

Highly recommend James and his team! I have done a few jobs with him last 3 years for business and home including gas and water. James always gives you the solution that’s suitable for your need with reasonable prices. He is not only doing the job you pay for but always looking the relatives ones. Thank you James and your team.

Thank you both so much for wrangling the monster tangle of roots from our stormwater pipe yesterday James. I can’t speak highly enough of your prompt responsiveness and terrific delivery of service.

I highly recommend James and his team. Excellent communication, quote provided in a timely manner, work completed over several days to work in with our project that required plumbing at different stages, and importantly great workmanship. Overall, a very good tradie to deal with and will use his services again.

Thank you so much to James and the team! Our hot water system broke late on a Friday afternoon and we called James who was there half an hour later, quickly identified the problem and provided a solution and sent us a quote that evening which we were very happy with. We advised we would like to go ahead and he was back the next morning at 8am to replace the hot water system. The team was efficient and friendly and we are extremely happy with the work completed. We will definitely be using them for all future requirements!
