Roy Sturdy Plumbing, Gasfitting & Roofing

Roy Sturdy Plumbing, Gasfitting & Roofing earns consistent praise from customers in Mackay for prompt service and straightforward pricing. Reviewers repeatedly mention that jobs are scheduled quickly, with one customer grateful for a same-day appointment after calling, and that tradespeople turn up close to the agreed time. The gas plumber who attended one job is described as friendly and efficient, completing the work without fuss and even shifting an old stove aside to install a replacement.

Charges are highlighted as reasonable and, in at least one instance, exactly matching the quote with no unexpected fees. Customers writing about their orders describe the team as professional and accommodating, with bookings made as soon as possible even for non-urgent work. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is the courteous manner of the tradespeople on site. One reviewer names Owen as the person who fitted them in and resolved the matter in around thirty minutes.

Beyond gasfitting and plumbing repairs, the business also covers roofing work, and customers appreciate the willingness to come out and assist at short notice. A strong pattern of repeat intent runs through the feedback, with reviewers stating they would use the company again for future plumbing needs and pass the details on to others. The standard of workmanship and the manner of the tradespeople are what stand out most often.

Highly recommend! Owen was able to fit me in same day as I called. After calling other plumbers and getting absurd quotes, he fixed my issue within half an hour and bill was exactly as quoted, no surprise fees. Will definitely recommend Sturdy Plumbing to anyone who asks.

Excellent plumbing service!

I found Roy Sturdy Plumbing to be friendly and accommodating. Got my booking in as soon as they could. (Wasn't an urgent job). Turned up on the day and close to the time they said. Gas Plumber was very friendly and efficient. Didn't take too long. Didn't mind shifting old stove out to get new stove in. Reasonable price. Recommend highly to anyone.
