Tony and the Jet Blast team are absolutely incredible, and exactly who you want to handle your plumbing needs. Responsive; up front; professional; experienced; a strong advocate for their customers; everything you can hope for to help you through a plumbing emergency. He has an innate ability to put your mind at ease in a time of crisis. A very impressive operator who goes above and beyond for the customer. Tony took a cold call at 8pm Saturday and was at our place by 8am Sunday with his jet down the drain. He quickly identified the blockage as being in the mains, which is an Icon issue, and helped coordinate directly with Icon. This might not seem like a big deal, but working with the Icon call centre is way easier when you speak their plumber language, and means so much to a stressed-out customer desperate for a dump. Icon attended within hours but couldn’t clear the blockage, insisting it was on our side, and asking us to encourage the plumber to push further. Tony returned at 7am Monday for round two, pushing furlongs of jet hose through the line and using a magic sonde to pinpoint the blockage past the mains connection. Because our pre-1980s house had no ground level boundary riser, excavation was the only option. With heavy rain forecast, timing was critical. Somehow Tony organised an excavator within the hour and returned with a crew ready to go. They made short work of the dig, and had the tie-in exposed before you knew it. Then came the fun part; time to open the line, and see exactly where the block is situated. Tony, in the hole, precariously cut the pipe where it joins the mains; this gave off a few squirters, but the bulk of the backed-up sewage held strong. The next approach was far more direct; a crowbar piercing straight through the IO cap, unleashing a 6-foot shit geyser sending forth turds en masse. The rising excreta, quickly brimming the access hole, which was specifically dug wide enough to accommodate the sheer volume of slop, made you fear for the neighbours. The stench is exactly what you expect and makes one ask deep questions of humanity. The experience makes sure you'll never look at a flushing toilet the same way without appreciating its ability to handle our byproduct, as well as the brave plumbers who keep them functioning. Tony was straight back on the phone to Icon to get them to come clear the mains. He knew their process well, and knew when they were going off script, and knew how to work through their system to get the most effective and efficient outcome for his customer. The Icon team was back on site within an hour, now with clear access to the mains from our side, and were able to locate the blockage in the mains and clear the sucker. Tony made sure they put in their notes the specific keywords to acknowledge their responsibility for the blockage, such that they cover the expenses. Tony installed a riser to ground level, stabilised the tie-in and associated pipework, and the team filled the hole in. The clean-up effort was equally impressive; with the exception of a new riser at ground level and a bit of stray dirt around, the team left no trace of the events that had unfolded there. Out of there by noon. This was an intense and stressful 36 hours for a customer with an issue that needed immediate attention. There are so many unknowns, and so many steps along the way, and your initial conditioned response at each stage is to stop and pause to google the issue to see if you are getting screwed. Tony gives you the peace of mind to know that he is operating with your best interests at heart and is going to take care of the whole process. This aspect of customer service cannot be overstated, and is incredibly difficult to learn or pick up on the job. Look no further.

Jet Blast Plumbing are quick to respond. They have all the jetter gear trailer mounted with a engine-powered pump along with a mobile water supply. Quick as a flash, they blast away my blockage. Second time I have used them. Very reliable.
