LBC Plumbing

Across Hobart, plumbing work carried out by LBC Plumbing draws consistent praise for the standard of the finished result and the reliability of the tradesman behind it. Louis is the name that recurs throughout the accounts, described repeatedly as friendly, professional and easy to deal with, arriving promptly and keeping customers informed before, during and after each job.

Several reviews mention that he diagnosed problems quickly, sourced the parts required and completed repairs efficiently, whether the task involved a leaking hot water system, a blocked sewer line traced to tree roots, poor tap water pressure or general plumbing for a new build and a subsequent renovation. Emergency call-outs feature often, including one attended over a public holiday and another where a hot water cylinder was replaced in heavy rain. Reviewers highlight fair pricing, clear communication and a tidy finish, with worksites left clean and rubbish removed.

Praise extends to his expertise and advice, his courteous manner and the care he takes with each task. Customers note that he resolves issues thoroughly rather than applying quick fixes, and many return to him for further repairs and improvements, including drainage and heating work. The recurring theme is dependable service delivered with skill and good humour, from urgent repairs through to planned bathroom and hot water installations.

With LBC Plumbing, you will find a polite, intelligent young man who loves his work and knows his stuff. Louis visited on a public holiday and diagnosed our sewerage problem which, to our relief, was not caused by recent fence work. He arrived within 15 minutes of my call and with his up-to-date equipment, was able to fix our problem which was caused by tree roots. He later helped us out with another issue, being poor tap water pressure after a new kitchen install. I was pleasantly surprised when I received Louis' invoice for his work on a public holiday! I'm so pleased to have found ourselves a local plumber who is professional, caring and reasonable with his rates. I recommend Louis highly and would happily welcome him back into our home.

Very happy with LBC plumbing. Excellent response time and communication. Reliable and thorough; a trustworthy service provider.

Couldn’t recommend Louis highly enough. After contacting several plumbing businesses, he responded quickly provided the best quote. He was able to replace our toilet and install a new one (including replacing the old terracotta pipes in a narrow crawl space) within the fortnight and only took a few hours to do so. He went above and beyond other companies and colour-matched and filled the excess gap in the floor tiles and put up a new sheet of plaster ready for me to paint.

Excellent service from Louis who diagnosed my problem, quickly obtained the parts needed and fixed my leaking hot water system. I highly recommend Louis to any plumbing repairs or improvements you have. Colin Millington
