Glen from Petterds is a great plumber: responsive, experienced, knowledgeable, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. Glen has helped us out of a lot of plumbing holes over the years, and we are very happy to recommend him. He’s also a lovely guy. If you have a plumbing problem, get Glen.
I don't understand the poor reviews. Friendly, honest, perfect communication, best price, and outstanding work. Very much an 'old fashioned service' experience. Was recommend by a family member and I would have no hesitation recommending to anyone.
We've been renovating our bathroom and ensuite. Glen showed up on time and re directed shower plumbing and stayed for an extra job of the drainage for our showers and installed the shower bases. Installed our toilets as well. The main bathroom, he needed to cut out flooring to climb under the house, neat job and amazing service! Great job done, we highly recommend this plumber for all your plumbing needs.
Terrible Experience!!! While the plumbing work was completed to a good standard, I was extremely disappointed with the billing practices. I was charged for 5 hours plus materials, which included travel time, time spent discussing the job, and wrapping up, not just the actual work performed. This felt misleading and unfair. Future customers should be very cautious about the way time is charged. I will not be using this plumber again.
Phoned to organise a job viewing for a quote and the response was atrocious. Some of the worst customer service I've ever received. The response received was arrogant, ignorant and just completely unnecessary. I don't know how you have customers with that attitude.
Thank you Petterd Plumbing for your quick response to my request for help with my leaky sink. Your quick follow up and flexible attitude made a stressful situation much easier. I found your fees very reasonable and would highly recommend this business.
Actually no stars. I have a leak under my house. Glen asked me to send an email which I did promptly. After a week with no response I emailed again, and later rang. He'd just had his office forward the week old first email. Apparently they only check emails on Wednesdays. He said he'd be around this afternoon. Late in the afternoon I asked when. He said he couldn't get here now until next week-which would be week 3 since contacting him. Unconscionable. Meanwhile the water inside my downstairs area is wetter, smellier and putting the structure at risk. He could have said he is too busy. I have a different plumber coming tomorrow.
