Tacking Point Plumbing & Site Services

Plumbing and drainage work forms the core of what this Port Macquarie business delivers, with customers frequently describing jobs that extend well beyond standard repairs. Several reviewers highlight the range of services on offer, including excavation, retaining walls, concreting, landscaping, stormwater drains, headwalls and swales, and the redirection of sewage lines. Sacha is named repeatedly as the central figure, praised for his punctuality, knowledge and easy going manner, while the wider team is described as professional, prompt and friendly.

Something that features in review after review is the quality of communication, with customers noting that the team explains the process, offers practical advice on future work and provides different options to keep costs down. Tidiness also recurs, with reviewers mentioning that sites are left clean and that attention is paid to finer details.

Reviewers describe the team showing up when they say they will and completing work exactly as promised, even across a wet week. The business handles both small urgent repairs, such as burst pipes and faulty tapware, and larger projects including granny flat additions, bathroom renovations and hillside landscaping. Customers consistently mention returning for further jobs and passing the details on to others, with the reliability of the team and the standard of the finished work standing out.

The Tacking Point Plumbing team were fantastic to work with. Prompt, great communication, professional and, big bonus in muddy Port Mac, tidy! The team worked across a wet week to put in a new stormwater drain, headwall and swale, problem solving along the way to connect existing downpipes, fill in old drain swale with clean fill and cut up some dead trees. Nothing was too much, too small or too hard. Sacha and Team were happy to explain the process, and take the time to make sure we were sure, adjusting as needed. Stormwater, excavations and soil moving/landscape prep is hard to take photos of, but sharing some process shots as we were so happy with how the team got the work done, a professional job.

Sasha and the team did a great job. Good communication before and during construction. Would highly recommend for all your plumbing drainage and landscaping needs

Sacha and the boys did an exceptional job. Nothing was a problem — everything we discussed about the job was delivered and completed to a very high standard. The transformation from what was an unusable and flooding area to a space that’s now practical and looks fantastic is amazing. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend this team 💯

We used Tacking Point Plumbing for plumbing & drainage work here in Lighthouse Beach and the team was professional, prompt, super friendly & excellent to deal with. They did exactly what they said they would and more, paying attention to the finer details and left the job in a really clean state. I was very impressed and have no hesitation in recommending them and will definitely use them again on a new build I’ll be starting shortly.

Best move ever, getting Sasha and his team to do our renovation. Our project involved excavation, retaining walls, landscaping, concreting, plumbing drainage, tacking point plumbing and site services. Sasha’s experience, communication and attention to detail, resulted in many improvements to the original plans and the final result adding considerable functionality and value to our home. Port Macquarie is lucky to have Sasha and his team.

I have used Sasha from Tacking Point Plumbing and site services in Port Macquarie several times. We used him on our latest extension to our property to do our plumbing drainage, some large retaining walls for our basement and the concrete suspended slab and driveway. Sasha also worked with our landscapers with doing the landscaping excavation in preparation for them. I have no hesitation in recommending Sasha, he is on time and on budget and helped in solving any site issues. Thanks again Sasha.

We had Sascha from Tacking Point Plumbing do a significant amount of work on our property about 5 years ago, the work includes excavation, plumbing and drainage, retaining walls, and a massive stone landscape to a hillside at the front of our home. We couldn’t have been happier with Sachas punctuality, workmanship and easy going nature. We’d definitely recommend these guys.👍
