BMF Plumbing and Gasfitting Canberra

Households across Braddon and the wider Canberra area contact BMF Plumbing and Gasfitting for jobs that range from a single leaking tap to a failed hot water system, and the accounts left by customers consistently highlight the same strengths. Several reviewers describe how quickly Brad responds, often arranging a same-day or next-day visit and arriving when he says he will.

A point made in several accounts is the honesty of his assessment: when an ageing water heater broke down, one customer recalled that Brad was the only tradesperson willing to diagnose and repair it rather than push for a costly replacement, and the fault turned out to be minor. Reviewers repeatedly mention clear explanations before work begins, competitive quotes and pricing they consider fair for the effort involved.

His workmanship draws praise for its neatness, including replacing tap valves with durable parts and locating the source of a roof leak before sealing the tiles. Customers note that he cleans up afterwards and follows through, returning to check a washing machine outlet that was not part of the original job. Gasfitting sits alongside general plumbing in the feedback, and the courteous, unflustered manner Brad brings to emergencies and routine repairs alike is a theme running through the accounts.

Amazing service, so quick for an after hours call out and fixed a very blocked pipe within 30 minutes. Would absolutely recommend!

9 year old water heater broke down, Brad was the only one out of 3 companies I called willing to come & diagnose/fix the problem - the others just said to replace and quoted $3.5-4k. As it turned out, it was a minor fix. If you want someone honest, trustworthy and reliable use these guys.

Avoid. They are not interested in responding to requests for quote or attending to calls. Good luck to anyone who would want to get a hold of them if something goes wrong with their service.

We're so happy about Brad's job. We actually hired another plumber to install the new taps in our bathroom, however it keeps leaking after installation. Then we found Brad to check, Brad fixed the mistakes from the previous plumber and even helped us to communicate. We feel so lucky to have found Brad, he is professional, helpful, and has integrity. We definitely will use him again.

Brad fixed our hydronic boiler. He came less than an hour after I called. He fixed it more or less instantly. The most impressive part was he said he didn’t even really usually do much work on hydronic heating systems - but he thought on his feet and figured it out in no time. Dude’s a great problem solver and a super nice guy. Also his apprentice Max was great too. Thanks again Brad!

Needed a simple plumbing job, washing machine in new apartment. Phoned Brad based on locality and Google rating, and he came around within a couple of hours to get it sorted, neat job and all good! However, there was a problem with the power supply to the outlet for the washing machine, nothing to do with Brad. But at no extra cost Brad came back the next day to see if he could help out and fix it for me. Top service from a top bloke.

Amazing service Brad is an absolute champion. I called him with an issue with our hot water heater and he literally turned up in 15 minutes and it was fixed within half an hour. Incredibly reasonable price given it was an emergency call out on a Saturday morning. I will definitely be using BMF Plumbing and Gasfitting again.
