Cairns Leak Detection

In Cairns, Cairns Leak Detection has earned consistent praise for tracking down concealed leaks that had proven difficult to locate. Customers name Darcy and Josh, describing them as punctual, efficient and professional, with several noting that they were kept informed throughout the process, from the initial call to the finished repair. A recurring theme is the patient explanation of each stage, with options offered before any escalation, which households dealing with unexplained water bills or council leakage notices particularly value.

Several accounts note that hard-to-find leaks under tiled patios, concrete driveways and suburban yards were pinpointed quickly and repaired on the spot, sometimes to a higher standard than the original installation. Tidiness also comes up frequently, with work areas left so clean that no evidence of the job remained. Transparent, upfront pricing without surprises is another common point, alongside cheerful, friendly service. The work spans leak detection and repair as well as general plumbing, and the same two names appear across accounts of both minor drips and significant underground pipe failures.

I have been through number of plumbers. And these two guys are the best in town I would say. Explaining problems and their jobs what we are paying for, delivering their jobs with small details but important without hesitating. Finally, finishing the job sparkling clean. Every plumbers I had before, they left with mess but these guys. I don’t even notice where the job was after they left. Huge thanks!

Darcy and Josh were absolute professionals coming to investigate (and fix) our concealed suburban leak. Bills had doubled over a 6 month period without reason. Polite and clear from the first phone call, then a thorough diagnostic process with constant clear explanations about the process all the way along, as they systematically hunted for our leak. There was no umming and ahhing - they just got straight into it and found it quickly - in our case TWO holes in underground PVC piping to the house, caused by rocks against the pipe. Detected using acoustic sensors. They dug holes, showed us the issue, fixed each leak quickly and well, and then carefully filled the holes with sand and cleaned up. We appreciate the education, too - Darcy helped us better understand our plumbing, our smartmeter and that we could apply to the council for a possible bill discount given the concealed leaks, which I had no idea about. Cost was very reasonable and fair - in the middle of the estimate they provided before coming out. Highly recommend this company and these industrious and excellent plumbers. We have used another Cairns company for general plumbing for years very happily, but I am so glad we got leak experts for this issue.

Thank you to Darcy and Josh @Cairns Leak Detection , I was very lucky for them to fit me in as I had an excess water leakage notice from the council 147L/per Hr . Honest and upfront about the overall cost , also amount of work required with no surprises . Tidy Work, very Professional . Cheers

These guys are the absolute BEST leak detectors & repair guys in the business. Found & repaired a concealed water leak a metre underground under concrete & tiles. Everything able to fit back into place after the repair was done. I got these guys out after using someone else initially. If you have a leak I’d WAIT until these guys are available to come out & fix it properly first time around. Darcy & Josh are professional, have all the right gear, qualifications & experience to know what they are doing. Highly recommend!

Lovely young brothers that did a great job. Carefully explained everything at each step and dealt with some challenging twists. My wife and I would highly recommend.

Wish all tradies were as easy to deal with as Cairns Leak Detection. Darcy and Josh were on time, upfront, efficient and professional. Only had a small leak, but they still found and fixed it quickly. Highly recommended.

Cairns Leak Detection Darcy and Josh from Cairns Leak Detection are cheerful and friendly and got the job done. They came and assessed the job on 23/3/26 and found the leak in a short amount of time and they gave me options to solve the issue. After I discussed with family and decided on what option I wanted, they came back on 26/3/26 and they completed the job and fixed the leak. I was kept apprised of the work they were doing as they went along. They were so helpful and able to fit my job in urgently. They were awesome. They had to cut the concrete and did an amazing job on the cut and then cleaned up after the fix and it looked good. I would recommend Cairns Leak Detection as I had a very positive experience with this business, and I’d definitely call them if I got another leak. Fingers crossed that I don’t get another leak though. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount charged. They are worth every penny and more. Thankyou Darcy and Josh. 😊
