Illawater Hot Water Services

Illawater Hot Water Services is repeatedly associated with the prompt replacement and repair of hot water systems across the Wollongong area, including heat pumps and solar hot water units. A recurring theme in the accounts is the responsiveness of Rhys, who is frequently named for arriving the same day or within a couple of hours of a call, diagnosing faults such as a failed thermostat or a leaking water heater, and persisting until the cause is identified. Several customers describe the communication as clear before and after the job, with fair and transparent pricing agreed in advance, and workmanship completed neatly and left tidy, including removal of the old tank.

Reviews regularly refer to punctuality, courteous and knowledgeable advice about ageing systems, and the ability to tackle complex installations without fuss. Emergency callouts appear often, with instructions given over the phone and a follow-up visit arranged when needed. The friendly manner of Rhys and his team, together with their well-equipped approach and quick, permanent fixes, is a point that comes up often, particularly on heat pump and general hot water work.

I agree 100% with preceding reviews: "Rhys went above and beyond", "precise, informative, quick", "expert troubleshooting", "great service"... We had an old, complex, gas-boosted solar hot water system that needed replacing. After much deliberation and many questions answered by Rhys, we decided on an electric heat pump hws. Every step of the process was professionally and expertly handled, from quoting to installation to after-sales service. Rhys and his team were trustworthy, reliable, knowledgeable, experienced. We are very satisfied and happy customers! Think: Hot water system = Illawater Hot Water Services.

Rhys was fantastic to deal with - precise, informative and quick. Helped finish off our move away from gas with ease and landed a new system exactly how we wanted it. Give him a buzz!

Absolutely amazing service! The communication was great, super friendly, and the work was outstanding. They were punctual, and the pricing was fair and transparent.

I have already started recommending these guys. They are reliable and easy to talk to and arrange a job.

I highly recommend Rhys he went above and beyond including a desperate weekend callout. He arrived promptly and repaired a gas hotwater system - others would either not come or could not fix. I subsequently got a heat pump system installed through Illawater and they were prompt, courteous and helpful. Offering me a good price with government rebates and deduction of initial emergency callout.

Rhys and the team at ILLAWATER were great. Responsive, friendly and install was quick and easy. Love our new heat pump!

Just had my Hot water heater replaced by Rhys. Great service and Very Good Value. I would definitely recommend.
