AGP Plumbing & Gas

Ballarat residents who have engaged AGP Plumbing & Gas for heating and hot water work describe a consistently smooth process from first inspection to final handover. Andrew is named frequently, both for his initial on-site assessment and for the guidance he offers on heat pump hot water systems, induction cooktops and air conditioning replacements. Customers highlight that quotes and follow-up detail come through quickly and that costs are set out plainly before any work begins.

The installations themselves are reported as efficient, with split systems and heat pumps fitted inside a single day and the new units heating large areas while drawing noticeably less power than the older equipment they replaced. Reviewers repeatedly note how well the crew communicates, with plumbers, apprentices and electricians talking through each stage, answering questions and explaining how to run the new systems.

Cleanliness is another theme, as offcuts and packaging are taken away and the work areas are left spotless. Teams come across as polite, respectful and good-humoured, and the same faces reappear across separate jobs, which points to stable crews. Jobs mentioned include heat pump hot water units and multi-head reverse-cycle systems in Darley and nearby. The consistent thread is thorough advice and orderly completion.

AGP installed a Midea 3.5kw heat pump A/C system to replace an old Toshiba unit on behalf of Chromagen. The new A/C heats a large area very well using much lower power drain than with my older heater. The installers arrived on-time, and set up the replacement process professionally. They were respectful throughout their time on-site, and discussed installation options with me thoroughly before commiting to their actions. They were also EXTREMELY TIDY, removing all traces of the installation, including the old Toshiba A/C equipment and all of the packaging from the new unit. The Midea unit was thoroughly tested, and performed as expected. Very happy with the Midea unit from Chromagen and I was thoroughly impressed with the AGP crew who installed it. Well done AGP.
