DJB Plumbing & Gas

Ballarat households and small businesses call on this plumbing and gas team for everything from burst pipes and leaks to complete changeovers of central heating and instantaneous water units. Fast attendance is a recurring theme, with one household reporting a failed system swapped out inside a day and another praising a diagnosis made within minutes of the tradesperson arriving. Named staff appear often in accounts: Emily and Daniel on the office side, Logan and Noah on site, each credited with patience, product knowledge and clear explanations of what needs doing and why.

Customers frequently highlight how queries about quotes and job requirements are answered without fuss, and how appointments, arrival windows and progress updates are communicated before, during and after the visit. Tidiness stands out as well, with work areas left clean after repairs and installations. Reviewers also value the willingness to return when a fault is not resolved to standard, including a stubborn issue traced after other trades had missed it and corrected in a couple of hours, plus new tapware, regulator fitting and gas connection isolation carried out efficiently for homes, a training studio and a renovation project.

DJB Plumbing provided me with excellent service for repairing my broken heater this winter. The turnaround for the replacement happened fast, and the service provided by friendly staff. Great at communicating updates on the heater, arrival times, etc. Very impressed!

Rating is based on pricing only. Quality of work and technician were good. I rang for a quick job - a couple of washers in the kitchen. Was quoted $160 as an call out fee, but that covered 15 minutes. Parts were extra. Pretty standard tradie pricing. The plumber who turned up was friendly and conversant and explained it wasn't the washers, but the actual posts inside the tap itself. He replaced these and tidied everything up - a total of 15 minutes in the house. The bill I received was over $280! The work was good (not spectacular, but definitely better than adequate), but the pricing was astronomical! Will not be using again.

Daniel was fantastic to deal with. He was professional, efficient, and kept us informed every step of the way. What really stood out was his follow-up after the job was finished – it’s rare to find that level of customer service these days! The team did a great job fixing our hot water service and installing a new regulator, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. We were really impressed with the communication, workmanship, efficiency and attention to detail. Highly recommend Daniel and the team. Thanks again!

Massive thanks to DJB plumbing and Gas for the fast and prompt service we received. Had our hot water system fixed first thing this morning by Glen, great prices and great people to deal with, couldn’t ask for anything better! Highly recommend.

DJB plumbing have been an absolute pleasure to work with - the team in the office were prompt and helpful with my queries, and Logan and Noah did a fantastic job on site every time they visited. They were friendly, knowledgeable and provided information, and always left the site neat and tidy. The quality of work is exceptional and I will definitely use them again for my next renovation!
