FULL LOCK Service & Repairs

Mechanical servicing and repairs, roadworthy inspections and auto electrical work form the core of what customers bring to this North Albury workshop, with several reviewers noting that Pat and his team look after cars, trailers and heavier vehicles such as a Ford Ranger. Reliability and punctuality come through strongly, with customers describing work finished when promised and late-afternoon requests accommodated without fuss. A point that comes up often is honesty: reviewers describe being given straight advice, being offered options rather than pressure, and feeling confident they would not be overcharged, a concern one customer specifically raised as a single woman.

Clear communication is repeatedly praised, both before and after jobs, alongside practical guidance on problems that might arise later. The quality of the result is mentioned across routine servicing, mechanical fault-finding and thorough roadworthy checks on older vehicles, with one account of a mis-fuelling incident where a tow was arranged and the issue resolved quickly so the customer could get home. Reasonable costs are noted, with long-standing patrons saying Pat has saved them money over the years. Pat is named frequently for his helpful manner, expertise and willingness to fit people in.

I did the wrong thing re fuel & Pat arranged a tow and fixed the issue quickly. I was able to get home safely. Thanks

After moving to Albury years ago, I didn’t know where to go for a mechanic so I googled and found this place. It wasn’t until the engine light on my Ford Ranger came on and what happened next that I fully and wholeheartedly trusted this Mechanic. Not knowing anything about cars, Pat could’ve told me I needed a whole new engine, He could’ve made up some story and bled me dry, But instead he was honest. It was a simple hose. He gave me two options a standard hose at a cost of 110 or a superior hose for 180. I was stoked. He’s always done a great job on my cars, been honest and I trust everything he says. Highly recommend this Mechanic.

Pat and his staff were very helpful and accomodating a late afternoon request from me.

Took my son's first car to Pat at Full Lock. He was very thorough with the Roadworthy which was great as it was an older car. Great service and wonderful communication. Thanks so much for a nice car mechanic experience.
