CJM Plumbing & Roofing Mackay

Mackay homeowners grappling with blocked drains, failed hot water systems and leaking roofs have called on this plumbing and roofing firm for both emergency repairs and planned replacements, and the accounts left behind are strikingly consistent. Several buyers describe urgent callouts being attended quickly, with missed calls returned within minutes and major blockages cleared the same day, including one sewage drain where tree roots were removed using specialist equipment and the area left clean.

Hot water work recurs throughout: old cylinders are replaced with new units brought up to standard, and the old tank is carted away. Reviews time and again mention clear explanations of the fault, honest quotes and a refusal to push unnecessary parts, with named tradespeople Ben, Chris and Christian singled out for friendliness and patience in walking customers through the problem.

Roofing and gutter jobs also feature, including re-screwing and sealing roof sheets, bathroom and toilet plumbing, and the removal of all debris. Punctuality, tidy workmanship, fair pricing and communication before and after the job come up time and again, alongside the effort taken to attend and quote in person, whether the job is a blocked sewer, a dead hot water cylinder, a leaking roof or a simple gutter repair.

Ben from CJM Plumbing saved me with 2 domestic plumbing catastrophes in 4 days. They returned a missed call, within 15 minutes (when does that happen when calling a tradesman), and were here promptly that day to fix a major blockage with the equipment they have to investigate and treat major pipe blockages. Like a colonoscopy, without the prep. Anyway, Ben cleared the tree root that had blocked the sewage drain and cleaned up and was out of here in no time. Then another totally unrelated water leak, 2 days later!. Ben fixed the leaking pipe issue, providing a solution that prevented damaging the house structure, and was done in no time. I was so impressed I had to write a review for this excellent business and the brilliant Ben.

Couldn't fault them. Good communication. Fair price for quality work. Gutter repair. I needed to contact 7 companies to get 3 quotes (4 didn't get back to me after promising they would). CJM were the most professional and the lowest quote. Also worked quickly and took away all the rubbish. Can't beat that. I'll use them next time.

Arrived on time, great communication and friendly staff. Will use again.

I was extremely happy with the service provided by CJM plumbing. Fast response to my request. Called ahead of time to let me know they’re on their way, problem was solved quickly, repairs completed to a high-level and any mess cleaned up afterwards. And… When I received the invoice, I was pleasantly surprised. Great value for the service received.. I would highly recommend CJM plumbing and I will most certainly use them again

Ben turned up on time. Hit a few problems but made me feel confident with his ability. He assured me it would all work out OK. It did, he was kind to my dog and very polite. Thankful for experienced and professional tradesmen.

Chris is super knowledgeable about hot water systems. He quickly figured out the problem and fixed it, while also explaining everything clearly. Honest, fair, and no upselling at all. Highly recommend if you have any hot water issues!
