Dolan Plumbing and Gas

Plumbing and gas work across Cairns, from tap and toilet repairs to bathroom renovations, kitchen plumbing and the installation of two electric water heaters, is what Karl of Dolan Plumbing and Gas is repeatedly praised for, including arranging the associated electrical work. Customers writing about their orders describe him as prompt and efficient, answering calls and turning up when he says he will. A recurring theme is his diagnostic skill: reviewers note that he traces underlying issues beyond the initial problem and deals with them before they grow, which property owners appreciate because it saves money and repeat visits.

His pricing is described as honest and fair, with costs explained clearly instead of materials simply being swapped out. Tidiness comes up as well, with other trades remarking on the neat finish of completed renovation work. Reviewers also highlight his friendly, patient manner and his willingness to talk through options. Urgent situations, such as an erupting bath tap and a tricky leak in an older building, were resolved calmly, and long-term clients keep coming back for both emergency call-outs and scheduled jobs.

I have been using Karl from Dolan plumbing for a few years and love his work. He is prompt and efficient. Diagnoses issues so much better then people I have used in the past. Saving me and my owners lots of money

I've used Karl twice now for different issues. Great response times, friendly service and jobs done without a fuss! Highly recommend.

I can't recommend Karl enough! Every time I've had a plumbing issue, he has gone above and beyond to fit me in, even on short notice. His professionalism, expertise and friendly attitude makes him a pleasure to work with. If you are looking for a reliable and skilled plumber, Karl is definitely the one to call.

Karl is lovely to deal with, very professional and provides exceptional workmanship to the job at hand. Had Karl come and fix two leaks on our toilet, fixed those but also checked and found other issues that would be problematic and fixed those as well. Highly recommend his plumbing services.

Karl has helped us out on so many occasions now some from last minute emergencies to planned work. Karl’s work is fantastic! Very reliable and he solves problems quickly and efficiently. Can’t recommend more highly.

Karl responds to calls-lots of other trades don’t bother-he is punctual, professional and does a first class job but charges a fair price. We had bathrooms renovated and other trades commented on a neat and well done job by the plumber. Definitely would use Karl again.

BEYOND EXCELLENCE!! We've been having issues with the solar hot water system. After several calls to electricians, plumbers, Ergon and not having any luck, we were referred to Dolan Plumbing. Karl was there within a few days, and immediately knew what the problem was. Due to an old, rusted solar hot water system, we had to get a new one installed. Karl was back within a few days, took 1000% effort to get the job done with very mininal interference. It was pissing down with rain but that didn't stop or slow him down. The most professional service I've had from a plumber, he communicated and updated everything with us, on time, and we just cannot fault him at all. Thank you Karl, we're so happy to be showering in hot water again and more importantly just meeting an awesome and professional human who just believe and deliver nothing but excellence. It's very rare and we're super thankful and grateful for you!
