Heat Pump Boys

Replacing ageing electric storage units and gas hot water systems with heat pumps is the work that runs through almost every account, with general plumbing such as shower head replacements and guttering also mentioned. Matt is the name that recurs throughout the feedback, and reviewers often describe him as friendly, patient and easy to deal with from the first enquiry through to the finished job. Customers note that he explains the differences between units and the rebates available, then organises the associated paperwork.

Praise for the installations themselves is consistent, including accounts of awkward sites and tight space constraints handled through careful planning and attention to detail, at times alongside Reclaim Solar Energy and the electrician Tim. How problems are handled is another theme: one tap that needed attention was promptly fixed, while teething issues with system configuration were patiently resolved until the customer was satisfied. Punctuality comes up as well, with appointment times kept or updated when poor weather intervened. The performance of the installed systems, including operation alongside a solar array, is described as meeting expectations even on overcast, rainy days.

Matt came out for the install to replace my gas hot water system and was happy to answer any questions. Very clean and professional install. Highly recommended for anyone around the Newcastle area.

Matt from Heat Pump Boys was a pleasure to deal with. He is friendly and professional. Kept us updated with appointment times due to poor weather. An excellent installation of a Reclaim heat pump and Earthworker 315L tank with great attention to detail and explained everything completely. Matt is great with pets and our dog had a new best friend for the day. Tim the electrician also did a great job despite there being a few complications with our old wiring and stayed well into the evening to get everything sorted. System has been in for two weeks now and working perfectly. We would highly recommend Matt and his team for your hot water needs.

Helped repair my ecogenica heat pump. Polite and prompt. I called in the morning, and he arrived in the afternoon to fix the problem. Definitely use again.

The Heat Pump Boys provided an excellent service and advice from the first phone call right through to the installation and commissioning of our new Reclaim heat pump.

Matthew from Heat Pump Boys and Tim the electrician were absolutely fantastic to work with. Everything was explained in detail and Matthew went out of his way to make sure everything went well and not one issue with install and pricing on the day. all costs clearly explained and good products to choose from. Would highly recommend Heat Pump Boys with all your plumbing and heat pump needs. Cheers, Leslie and David

Matthew and team from Heat Pump Boys replaced my gas hot water system with a heat pump and I'm very happy with the quality of the install and the resulting performance. They are a local company that take pride in their work, and are skillful, polite, friendly, communicative and professional. I would use them again.

Have just had Matt install a new heat pump hot water system at our home, replacing our old electric store that was end of life. From the enquiry through to the install, Matt was very easy to deal with, explaining differences between the different units and rebates available. Install was very smooth, and Matt organised all of the paper work for the rebates. 5 stars and highly recommend. Cheers!
