Hutchins Plumbing & Gas Gold Coast

Gasfitting and hot water work around Hope Island forms the backbone of this business, and the feedback gathered from clients follows a steady pattern. David, named in most of the accounts, comes across as punctual, friendly and honest, arriving at the promised time and keeping homeowners informed throughout a job. Customers in several reviews describe his pricing as clear and fair, with quotes given before work starts and holding firm even when a job takes longer than first thought.

Reviews time and again mention the quality of the finished result, whether that means a repaired water heater, two new toilets fitted despite awkward set-out challenges, or plumbing carried out across multiple bathroom and kitchen renovations. Tidiness features often, with work areas left clean and care taken inside the home.

Long-standing clients note that he takes on last-minute jobs without fuss, and that pre-purchase inspections have uncovered problems that would otherwise have caused trouble later. One account describes an overnight leak from a hot water unit and the calm, thorough way it was dealt with, including a referral to a leak specialist. Others point to his readiness to answer questions and explain his reasoning. The work spans gasfitting, hot water systems, bathroom and kitchen plumbing, and general maintenance across the northern Gold Coast.

His work is nothing but the best and thats no lie. If you want good, reliable, trust worthy service Dave is your guy. But I will say, once you start using Hutchins Plumbing you won't go anywhere else.

5 stars isn’t enough for this local plumber. David was a huge support to me when I was experiencing leak after leak over a short period of time. A decision was made to lay new underground water pipes and David completed the work professionally and with an amazing work ethic. He was a complete gem from start to finish. You won’t find better.

Dave was recommended to help with a faulty hot water system that was leaking the night before. The job was complicated for many reasons. Dave checked in with me every step of the way, explaining what he was doing and why. Quoted up front the costs and that didn't change, despite the job being longer than anticipated. He was patient, tidy and took what ever time he needed to do the job thoroughly and professionally. I'm in Brisbane and there was no issue for Dave travelling from the Gold Coast. He was on time and a good communicator. More than happy to recommend Dave to anyone in need of a quality, professional plumber.

I’ve had Dave out a couple of times for various things and can’t recommend him highly enough. Friendly, professional and thorough; he explained the issues to me, gave various options when it came to the fix/ replacements and had the work completed quickly and cleanly.

Google reviews are full of "this guy was great etc" which generally means they are biased, However The service , effort, and quality Dave provided was dead set 6 stars, If your living in the cove and want a well priced and reliable plumber I can not recommend Dave highly enough

I cannot recommend David's services more if I tried! He is outstanding at his work, has wonderful attention to detail and always ensures a perfect result. We have worked with David for a few years across 3 bathroom and kitchen renovations, and he is always considerate, careful and so respectful. I trust him with any kind of job, and would recommend him to anyone I love. Thank you David! You're my plumber for life!
