Peace Plumbing and Gasfitting 24/7

Hobart residents who have called on Peace Plumbing and Gasfitting 24/7 describe a capable tradesman whose emergency response is a genuine strength and whose scheduling and billing follow-through has drawn criticism. When an Airbnb host needed a blocked drain cleared on a public holiday, Cliff was the only advertised emergency plumber who answered, attending within an hour, resolving the blockage before the guests came back and charging a call-out fee the host regarded as reasonable. Reviewers also note his thoroughness, professional approach and fair pricing on general plumbing work.

A recurring complaint concerns timekeeping and billing, with one customer stating that a gas pipe was lowered by 12 centimetres to ground level and a capped tee junction swapped for an elbow over a long day, billed at $780 and completed about three weeks behind schedule, with queries about the invoice going unanswered. A separate reviewer describes asking about a heater conversion, receiving no quote and later being sent an account despite no work being performed. The pattern is competent hands-on work let down by unanswered questions.

To lower 2.5 metres of gas pipe by 12 cms to ground level and replace a capped off tee junction with an elbow took 5.75 hours during which I could hear minimal activity and cost $780.  3km from CBD. came 3 weeks later than promised. No reply when I questioned the bill. The facts. The judgment is all yours

Guest in my Airbnb reported a block drain on New Year's Day. I tried to call several plumbers who advertise 24/7 Emergency call outs but Cliff was the only one who responded. He was there in an hour and sorted the problem before my guests even returned from their day out and he only charged a reasonable fee for the call out. That is good service in my book!!!

Cliff did several jobs for me. Overall nice guy. Fair pricing, very thorough and professional. Highly recommended.

Not a very good experience with cliff hasn't been to give a quote asked a few questions about converting a heater then I didn't want to sell him my gas heater so now I am getting an account to pay with no work done at all and no mention of wanting any money about the questions I asked about conversions NOT A VERY GOOD OUTCOME not recommended
