Scott Mitchell Plumbing

Scott Mitchell Plumbing is a Bathurst operation whose customers describe a mix of helpful service and frustrating shortfalls. Several reviewers praise the team for turning up when promised and resolving urgent problems, including a toilet repair completed promptly and a hot water system replaced within a day after an early morning call. Reviews regularly refer to clear explanations, friendly staff, honesty and a tidy finish, with one customer noting a helpful woman answering the phone and a professional tradesman arriving soon after.

The business appears in the data as a hot water system supplier and roofing contractor, and the emergency hot water work is the job most often described. Something that features in review after review is the quality of the workmanship when jobs go well, with customers expressing thanks for reliability and attention to detail.

The picture is not uniformly positive: recurring accounts describe cancelled or repeatedly delayed appointments with little notice, a toilet that needed three visits before it worked, and work sites left with gloves, plastic and other waste, plus a manhole repair described as brief and sloppy. These complaints centre on communication, scheduling and cleanliness rather than the technical result. Named in the praise is Scott himself, with customers describing him and his team as easy to deal with on urgent call-outs.

First intervention in our subdivision: Dirty and sloppy work. Gloves, pieces of plastic and many other wastes left on site everywhere. And a broken manhole, repair VERY briefly with mastic. In short, everything except professional. Second intervention of this company: Ditto, dirty work and this time music at full the top even though they work right in front of few houses. (Great to work). I never put negative comments but when it comes to such negligence, I unfortunately have no choice.

Great business always super helpful friendly and polite! They go above and beyond I highly recommend!

Nathan & Justin came around today and replaced our old oven. They did an amazing job at cleaning the space before putting the new one in and then cleaned the floors after they were done. Very efficient and respectful. Only plumber to use in Bathurst!

Scott and his team are excellent. They always come out for urgent jobs on the day and with no fuss. Highly recommend Scott Mitchell Plumbing for any of your needs. We thank them a lot .

They took great care to ensure everything was done properly and left the area clean and tidy. It’s rare to find such reliable and skilled service — I would definitely recommend and use again without hesitation.

Absolutely fantastic experience. After a freezing cold shower and finding our hot water system in an ominous puddle of water, I made my distress call at 07:31 hrs to be answered by an angel, the most helpful woman I feel I could interact with. Within the next hour, a professional, friendly and experienced gentleman arrived to assess the situation, and by the end of the day my knights in shining tradey gear had a new system set up, outdoor power point and all. I have piping hot water (to Australian regulations of course), thanks to this fabulous team. Love your work ✌
