Brisbane City Plumbing and Gas

In Chermside and the nearby suburbs, this plumbing and gas outfit has earned loyalty largely through Lewis, whose name threads through most customer accounts. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is his punctuality, with appointments kept as arranged and updates provided about timing before and during the visit. Customers also value the straightforward approach to costs, saying the figures discussed upfront were the figures charged. Reviewers note his habit of walking through the problem in everyday language and setting out the options, whether the call concerns a leaking pipe, a toilet on the brink of replacement, or a failed hot water unit.

Jobs described range from fridge and laundry connections in inner city apartments and complete bathroom renovations to after-hours emergency work for burst pipes, including a same-day hot water swap that spared a household a cold shower. Tidiness features too, such as wiping down behind a washing machine and leaving the site neat. His friendly and patient manner, along with follow-up contact after the work is finished, is singled out by customers who say they would engage him again.

Lewis and his team arrived on time, completed the work to a budget agreed and were friendly to deal with. Highly recommend.

Lewis did an awesome job replacing our hot water system in Ascot. He turned up on time, explained everything in plain English and had the new system installed before we knew it. We were expecting a freezing shower for days, but Brisbane City Plumbing & Gas had us back in hot water the same day. Lewis was professional, friendly and even cleaned up afterwards. Hopefully we don't need a plumber again anytime soon—but if we do, we know exactly who we're calling. Highly recommend!

Glad I called Brisbane City Plumbing and Gas when the pilot light on my gas hot water service went out. I couldn’t restart it because the piezo electric starter wasn’t working. These guys offered to pop over and restart it with a long nosed lighter, but I had one at home and did it myself. Glad they gave me the idea, but I still booked them in to replace the starter once he had the parts to fix it. Great work!

Lewis helped me with a blocked drain. Great guy, unbelievable service and what a laugh. Thanks Lewis. Will recommend to friends and family!!

I have engaged Brisbane City Plumbing & Gas for all my company's needs, and they are by far the best we have worked with. I highly recommend them.

Lewis helped with installation of fridge and laundry plumbing in an inner city apartment, excellent service and attention to detail for the job.

Big thanks to Lewis and his team for the prompt service. Friendly and efficient. They did a terrific job. Highly recommend for any plumbing needs.
