Storm water caused us to lose power to 1/3 of the house and damage to our HWS pump. This happened on the Thursday night before a long weekend. I called The Hot Water Professionals first thing Friday morning. John took my call immediately and was able to talk me through the plan to rectify the damage that very day. He referred me to an excellent electrician who was able to attend within a few hours, diagnose the exact problem and pass this on to The HWP. John organized a new pump and technician to install it, plus an overall service. What could have been a bad situation for us was all fixed by 1.30 the very day I called it in!! I was extremely impressed with and grateful for the polite, prompt and efficient solution to our problem at short notice. Our Rheem gas hot water system of 50 + years stopped working and we urgently needed a replacement system. As we were eligible for the hot water rebate, I contacted Hot Water (HWP), one of the many suppliers listed on the Victorian Hot water rebate website. The reason I selected them was because their company name aligned with our need for a replacement hot water system. Dijean from HWP contacted me within 15 minutes of my sending the email request. A technician Mark arrived the same morning to review our current system and discuss the available hot water system options. Mark explained the pros and cons of both gas and electric systems as it related to our specific situation. Based on our need, we decided to replace ours with a compact Rheem Gas continuous flow system with electronic ignition. Once we confirmed our decision Dijean sent us a detailed quote specifying the Rheem 26 system and associated warranty. Due to our urgency, he scheduled our installation for the following day. As scheduled, the two HWP plumbers/technicians Simon and Sap arrived around 8 am and had company logos on their clothing. Igor the electrician arrived later to complete the electronic components. They were polite, demonstrated their expertise by decommissioning the old gas system, completing the new installation and clearing the rubbish by 1 pm. We also received the compliance certificate for the works. We were very satisfied with our dealings with Dijean and other staff as they were professional, reliable and were easy to deal with. Electric instant hot water system. After to speaking to 3 other businesses I called Hot Water Professionals and spoke to David. I know nothing about the systems or the technical specs required. David was able to ask the right technical questions and help me figure out the best system our unit can handle. Initial call on a Monday and had the unit delivered to Brisbane on Friday morning for self install. Great experience, definitely recommend.
