Would not recommend. Overpriced, poor communication and unreliable. The story is too long to post but it was bad from the beginning. Paid over $100.00 for a 5 minute quote and rang repeatedly to get booked in with no one calling me back. Finally booked in a month in advance, paid the deposit on top of the quote free and wasn't told there was a window of up to 4 hours but was booked for a specific time. I can't stay in the home due to the chemicals used so made plans. Feel really mucked around having taken the afternoon off work to get the work done, paid about $200.00 for absolutely nothing. Now I need to find someone else to do it, pay more money and take more time off work.

Fantastic service from start to finish. We had a new air conditioner, an additional tap and a ceiling fan installed. The fan was faulty, but it had been purchased elsewhere. The team went above and beyond by contacting the supplier on our behalf, explaining the issue and helping organise a replacement. They've already booked a time to come back and install the new fan. The quality of the work was excellent and the tradies were professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I can't recommend this company and their team highly enough!

Your Local Tradesman was punctual, polite, friendly and fully explained everything he would need to do and why each step was recommended, while compiling the quote for the job. He understood that as the tenant I did not have final say in whether or not he could carry out the work. Last week, I contacted Your Local Tradesman to arrange a plumber. They called me the same day and promptly booked a time to come out and provide a quote. They had excellent availability, and any delay in scheduling was on my end. I received a reminder email the day before the appointment, which was appreciated. Although the booking was within a four-hour window, the plumber also called about 30 minutes before arriving, which was very helpful. Louis was polite, professional, and respectful throughout the visit. He quickly identified the issue, provided a very reasonable quote, and was able to complete the repair on the spot. Overall, I was very impressed with the service and communication from start to finish. I would happily recommend Your Local Tradesman and Louis, I would use them again in the future.
