Clearline Plumbing

Bathroom renovation, drainage, hot water and solar hot water work sits at the centre of what customers describe, and Gary is the name that runs through almost every account. Reviews time and again mention his responsiveness, with urgent jobs attended to quickly and calls returned without delay. Punctuality and reliability come up often, along with a habit of explaining the problem and the proposed fix in plain language before starting.

Customers writing about their orders describe his pricing as fair and transparent, noting they never experienced bill shock and that he sometimes declined payment for preliminary testing that did not solve the issue. His diagnostic skill is a recurring theme, particularly on a difficult water leak that other attempts had failed to trace, and he followed up afterwards to confirm the problem had not returned.

Long-standing clients, including the committee of an apartment block and owners of both homes and rental properties, value the honesty and integrity he brings, the standard of finish he leaves behind, and his willingness to stand by completed work. Tidiness and a friendly, unflustered manner round out the picture, with customers noting he accommodates reasonable requests and refers other local trades when a job falls outside his scope. That mix of clear advice, careful workmanship and reasonable cost keeps people returning for maintenance, installations and emergencies alike.

Gary was very professional and knowledgeable. Very happy to explain everything to me. Honest, sincere and friendly. Very affordable. I would recommend Gary to anyone.

I've used Gary from Clearline as my main plumber for many years now. He has always managed to efficiently fix even the very complex issues. Today Gary installed a large vanity basin flawlessly and for a very fair price. No short cuts... He is also friendly and easy to chat with. I highly recommend Clearline Plumbing services and wont hesitate to use them again!

If you want a great plumbing service that is genuine, affordable, goes above and beyond, and is easy to deal with, you cannot go any further than Clearline Plumbing. I have used numerous services over the years and I feel really lucky that i finally landed on one that literally worked around the clock to help me out and fix an issue of an unknown leak destroying my kitchen cabinets. Further, they addressed all my little issues around the house that other services have just brushed off as unnecessary. Particularly, i have to give it to Gary. He was contactable all the time, walked me through every step of the process, gave me options and alternatives, and broke down costs as he went so i could make an informed decision and not be left high and dry at the end. He is a genuine and great bloke, lightyears away from any other tradesman i have ever dealt with. I could not recommend this service more. If you want a brilliant job for a fair and honest price, Clearline are the way to go. Exceptional work

Gary is an amazing plumber, he is a genuine, honest and friendly guy, good value, on time and he kindly fit us in even though he is very busy. Our neighbour thankfully referred us to Gary as we had just moved in with a toilet problem and leaking tap and he sorted this for us very quickly with excellent workmanship. Gary then also helped us source toilet seats that needed to be replaced with much lower prices and great quality. Highly recommended!

Top bloke. Gary was very easy to communicate with and truly a good plumber. He even tried to diagnose my problem for me over the phone before even attending my property. He worked to resolve the problem and wasn't leaving until he fixed the issue for me and charged such a reasonable price for the materials and time he was here and didn't even charge for the initial work we tested to try to solve the problem with first. Call Gary first. I will be coming back to him for any future work. very happy

Gary is a great plumber I would recommend to anyone. He’s friendly and good at explaining options in a way I can understand. I’ve never had him charge me for travel time to get some obscure part like other plumbers sometimes do - he has a well- stocked truck. In my experience he mostly does things himself and only brings someone else if it’s really a two person job - which is rare. This works well for me because in my opinion people who always have an offsider with them are often charging you for someone to stand around. I also appreciate that he tells you which bits you could save money on by doing things yourself if you want. Almost all the parents at my children’s school use him. Once he was on holiday and I asked a local trade business if they could recommend me a plumber and they said Gary. I said “Gary’s away” and they said “we don’t recommend anyone else”. Happy to recommend him.

Having been using Clearline Plumbing for many years now for my home and rental property in Ashgrove. Gary is always prompt, fixes the problem and i never get 'bill shock'. Would definitely recommend.
