6 Star Hot Water and Plumbing

Households and landlords across Canberra have turned to this plumbing business for failed hot water systems, and the accounts describe rapid turnarounds, with replacements and repairs often completed the same day an initial call was placed. Robert, Dale, Henry and Zach are named for their knowledge and patience, whether answering numerous questions about removing an old unit or explaining how to adjust a timer. Diagnosis is presented as careful rather than automatic, with one system a previous firm had declared beyond saving repaired quickly and at little expense.

More than one customer describes clear quotes and fair pricing, noting that options were discussed in light of existing solar panel and battery setups without pressure toward unnecessary spending. Communication before and after the work is repeatedly praised, including telephone guidance that resolved a fault before any visit and updates provided to both landlords and tenants at a rental property. The types of work mentioned range from gas installation and hot water system supply through to blocked drainage, tap replacement, and same-day emergency attendance. Reviewers also comment on courteous, well-mannered tradespeople who arrive when promised, work efficiently, and leave the site tidy once the job is finished.

Henry did a great job and made solid, pragmatic recommendations that extended the life of my system without needing a full replacement. Very much appreciated!

Highly recommend them. Dale was very patient and very helpful. Had another company look at my hot water system before these guys and basically said that I will need to replace the whole system and also charged me extra $$. Then this guys without even coming on site said it’s repairable and fixed it in 5 mins. Saved me $$. Plus dale was kind enough to show me how to adjust the timer and few other things. If you are looking for an honest business I’d suggest them for sure.

I have been using 6 Star Plumbing for about 20 years now. I have several investment homes that are constantly requiring repairs and upgrades. Rob and his team have been fantastic in their workmanship, fast response and comprehensive knowledge of plumbing issues across the board. A number of issues that have arisen from my properties have required a broad and detailed knowledge and understanding of plumbing and drainage issues. Rob has always been able to analyse the problem and offer the best solutions. It is always difficult to find a business and tradesman who you can rely on and trust. I have full trust that when I call Rob I will get the best service possible. I can highly recommend 6 Star Plumbing to anyone needing prompt and comprehensive service. 6 Star live up to their name by providing 6 Star Service. Steven Gaunt

The service from the team was excellent. Called in a broken hot water system in the morning and had a new system and hot water after lunch the same day. Rob and the team are highly knowledgeable and talked through options that aligned with my solar panel and battery system, all whilst mindful of cost. I highly recommend 6 Star Plumbing and will absolutely use them again. If you want a plumber that cares about you and their quality of work, you can't do better than the team at 6 Star Hot Water and Plumbing.

If I could give them six stars I would! Brent and his team had our drains unblocked in a few hours after first contacting them for an extremely reasonable amount considering the length of our pipes and the steep angles that connect our drainage. They were funny and professional, and all around a fantastic team. Would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

Rang today expecting to book a time. Was told a Plumber would be available today between 12 & 2. Plumber arrived not long after 12. Very well mannered & professional. Excellent service will definitely use this company again if need a plumber again. Highly recommended.

6 Star Hot Water and Plumbing attended promptly and completed our plumbing job to our complete satisfaction. Happy to recommend this business.
