I’m very disappointed with the service I’ve received. My current system burst, and I was told a quote would be sent to me as soon as possible. I initially spoke with someone, but when I followed the following day and left a voicemail, I received no response. Two days after that, I called again—still no reply. On my third attempt, I finally spoke to someone who said the quote was ready but just needed a supervisor’s approval. I reminded them that I urgently needed it, as I had no hot water. That was a week ago, and I still haven’t received anything. Very poor service, and I certainly won’t be recommending this company.

Adelaide Heat Pumps installed a Apricus All-in-one Heat Pump Hot Water Service to replace our gas storage HWS on 24 August 2023. We chose them because of their reasonable price for both the system and maintenance, their prompt responses to questions and their good availability (about 2 weeks from agreeing to buy to installation). The installation went very well. I requested that the HP be backed up by our battery and that was agreed on the fly on the day. All staff were very pleasant and obliging, including coming back promptly to remove a small brick and concrete that had been inadvertently left at our place. The owner, Jonathen, showed considerable IT expertise in getting our WIFI system to interconnect with the HP. I cannot speak highly enough of their punctuality, attention to detail, courtesy and know how. A great pleasure to deal with and highly recommended!

Jonathen and his team at Adelaide Heat Pumps did a fantastic, quick and neat job while replacing an old electric water heater with a Reclaim Energy heat pump system. From initial quoting (very reasonable pricing as well) to install we had a great experience and Jonathen was able to answer any questions we had (even after hours!). We HIGHLY recommend Adelaide Heat Pumps for anyone looking for a local Adelaide company who is passionate about what they do.

Adelaide Heat Pumps installed our Reclaim heat pump two years ago. It has been amazing and has saved us so much money. With the arrival of winter, I noticed it was leaking. Jonathen popped in THE NEXT DAY and hooked up a pipe to catch the condensation and send it down the drain instead of all over the concrete path. He didn't even charge us for the service! Amazing! Can't recommend them highly enough.

When our old electric hot water service died this winter, rather than replacing it with the same type of power guzzling system, we saw it as an opportunity to invest in a hot water pump from Adelaide Heat Pumps, to save on power bills and to become a more sustainable household. Jonathen and the team were very professional and polite, from providing the quote, keeping us informed about delivery, to installation of the unit, which we have now been using for several weeks. With the user-friendly app, the pump can be set up to operate during the most economic time of day, outside of peak rate electricity, which also coincides with the highest solar production hours during the day. I had high hopes for my dealings with Adelaide Heat Pumps as the business had good reviews but unfortunately my experience with them fell flat. I received a quote via email on 28 March 2023 to which I accepted and booked in a date for a drain install prior to the heat pump being installed due to the driveway concrete being re-laid. Jonathan attended site on 11 April and dug a hole in the carport for the installation of the drain. Parts were required which had a turnaround of a couple of days. Despite my follow up with the office on a couple of occasions new parts were never received and I was never contacted about the completion of this job. All I have from my dealings with this business is a hole in my carport with exposed piping. Thank goodness a payment wasn't been made as I would be fighting for that to be returned.

Jonathen is very well organised, prompt and efficient as well as being a thoroughly nice guy. My heat pump is very neatly installed, operates quietly (unlike one I had installed in Melbourne in 2014) and is amazingly efficient! The work was carried out carefully and the whole area left very neat and tidy. Rubbish was sorted for appropriate recycling as the installation progressed. I am very impressed and HIGHLY recommend Adelaide Heat Pumps!!
