Dickson Plumbing & Gas Fitting

Households across the Sunshine Coast have enlisted Dickson Plumbing & Gas Fitting for a range of jobs, from leaking sink taps and failed vanity units to full plumbing layouts on removal homes and replacement gas cooktops, stoves and regulators. Shane Dickson is the name that surfaces again and again, and a number of reviewers describe his manner as professional, honest and approachable.

Several customers note that he answers calls promptly and explains each step as he works, whether he is tracing a gas leak, sourcing a replacement regulator or testing a new installation. His product knowledge earns consistent praise, particularly on gas appliance fit-outs where he also points clients towards the other trades they need. Reports of workmanship centre on careful installation and a strong attention to detail, with finished jobs described as tidy and thorough.

Pricing draws favourable comment for being fair, with reasonable call-out charges and savings on parts mentioned by more than one client. Keen observations include his willingness to fit jobs in at short notice, his reliability from the first enquiry through to completion, and the humour he brings on site. Repeat business and referrals follow, and the final word from many is simply that they would call Shane again.

Shane was excellent. Saved us hundreds of dollars on parts and had a very reasonable call out rate. Nice bloke too. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Shane at Dickson Plumbing and Gas fitting. I found Shane to be the most reliable and trustworthy tradie in Qld. He turned up on the day I rang and investigated everything that could be wrong for a great price. I will definitely call Shane next time I need a plumber and will easily recommend him to anyone.

My hot water system decided to drop its bottom and spray out water out like a tap that was on full pressure….Shane was on holidays but wasn’t too far away from my house so he called in a with no tools or equipment but managed to turn the system temporarily….came back the next day with tools and parts to make sure it was totally isolated and couldn’t loose anymore water until he could get here to install a new unit….because he had been on holidays he had a mountain of jobs waiting to be scheduled in but he made sure that I was his priority and his first job back….I’m so grateful he did and that simple act reinforced how much he cares about his customers and I can’t imagine how long I would’ve waited if I’d chosen a different person/tradie….Shane is very professional and describes what he’s doing and what has planned for the job all whilst being professional and a pleasant person to have at the house….thanks Shane for everything you did (including coming out twice during your holidays!) I truly appreciate all the work you did and for communicating throughout….if you are after a plumber you shouldn’t go past Shane as I can’t recommend him highly enough!!
