Had a leaky tap and clogged pipe, was given quality service explaining exactly what the issues were and got it fixed within 2 hours

Kurtis and his team repaired our broken sewer pipes. They also did extra work that was not originally planned for. The cost was very expensive, possibly substantially more than other plumbers. Their pricing methods are suspect. They give free quotes, I suspect the cost of a free quote is added to the total cost. Then they ask you to sign off on any work, which is OK I guess. However, if you have an immediate problem, it is hard to say no as you may have to wait a while for someone else to quote with possibly a quote fee. The job stared out with a quote for camera inspection, then a further quote to repair the damage. More extensive damage was found, resulting in more expense. Once you have paid for an inspection, you really need to keep going otherwise you spend more money on other quotes and inspections. Admittedly, some plumbers do give free quotes. Due to all the work required, they waived the camera inpsection fee and gave a 50% discount for the work required to fix the first problems found. Overall, a good experience, but very expensive. Foolishly I did not get other quotes, although 8 years ago I was charges $2200 for some similar work and was quoted $10000, so $17000 for more extensive work is probably on the high side but within range. Make sure to get multiple quotes for any building job. Note that the initial quote is EX GST, so for an expensive job, ask the question. They also charge a 1.5% credit card fee, thankfully not for much longer as the govt is abolishing those soon. I suspect businesses will just up their prices.

Fixed Today replaced my kitchen tap after days of suffering . Thank you Ariole. You performed the work professionally and even fixed the adjacent valve which was not part of the original scope. Fixed Today (Ariole) even came back on site to repair another kitchen sink leakage due to worn out unit section.
