This is the second time I have used Butler Plumbing. Fixed tap leaking and blocked drain very efficiently and cleanly. Highly recommend z.

Thanks to the team at Butler Plumbing for firstly, actually responding and being top notch with their communication. They came out the next day and stopped the water constantly running in our toilet. James luckily knew how to access our system (it's built into the wall - apartment living & design) & fixed it fairly quickly. If we need a plumber again, they'll be the first ones I try. I can sleep soundly tonight without the sound of dripping water!

Spoke to 2 of their office staff, on 2 separate occassions, regarding a follow-up issue on a job their plumbers did - issue wasn't really caused by them, but they were EXTREMELY helpful and I felt so looked after by both of them the staff I spoke to. Really goes to show that great customer service really does win/retain customers, because I will use these guys/girls for all my plumbing needs in the future.

So expensive, complete rip-off. I had a shower tap that wasn't working so called Butler Plumbing. I've recently bought my apartment so wanted the rest of the plumbing checked. Plumber visited - changed two washers on each of the shower taps then checked the other plumbing to see what else needed fixing. It was $200 for the 2 washers and then another $200 to tell me everything else needed servicing (which I already knew) but without doing any of the servicing. Plumber said I would need to call Head Office and arragne for someone else to do the servicing. And then he stood over me and made me pay the invoice before he left. So all in all, $400 to change 2 washers.

Let me say – if I could give 10 stars to the Butler Plumbing team, I would! Not only are they super communicative, transparent and diligent – they also gave advice and full reporting on all the works we needed done. They have helped us to sort out our plumbing issues, and we knew at every step what the cost would be and the timeframe. There are no hidden costs, and the team is just amazing! No problem is too big or small, and the service is very affordable. Highly, highly recommend Andrew and his team.

Avoid. Dodgy. I paid $4000 for two plumbers for five hours. Half up-front and I supplied all materials except some silcone! The time anticipated ended up being gross overestimate ( i hadn't bought enough roofing megasorb) but they would not adjust the invoice to reflect the reality. I liked the guys but they sadly lied about the amount of time spent on the job (no one charges $800 an hour!) Vehicle "trackers" record their cars time on-site for 8 hours but obviously not them (away for hours at "lunch" and then sat in cars for long time on return) and they told the office staff fibs about when they arrived and how long they were on the job for. I don't mind guys padding a little but this was egregious gouging. What they didn't know is that I checked the roof while they were on their extended 2.5 hour lunch. The job was finished at 1pm. Of courses vehicles and trackers remained in place (they walked to nearby cafes/pub). They remained in their cars long before job began and over an hour after they left the house at the end. It is scamming and pretty obvious. Are office staff aware of this? I'm not sure. Possibly E - the female office staffer seems to believe her patter (a v fast talker) but is not thinking clearly about what is fair or reasonable (or is in the dark about what is really going on?). Yes, a quote was received and accepted but circumstances changed - much less time was spent than anticipated - and her guys are fibbing to her (and letting themselves down badly). $4000 for five hours. It is ridiculous. As it stands BP is not an ethical business. NB: I was actually asked to show evidence (a screenshot) I'd paid, yes, the upfront amount of nearly $2000. And lots of "pay up quick" pressure phone calls. Mea culpa. Talk about brutal red lights. Beware. I would like a refund of $1500 and a note of apology from the two lads - signed by them. The note is for their benefit not mine. I'v done other media recently and may yet do a story on this unsatisfactory experience. Or not. The "scope of the work" was reduced by 50% on original estimates. Costs should reflect this. Butlers comment is simply lies. AVOID.
