Taylor was friendly and helpful from the start, and Steve arrived quicker than expected, which was a huge relief with an ongoing leak near our water meter in South Morang. Steve was professional, easy to deal with, and took the time to explain what the issue was, what needed to be done, and what to keep an eye on if there were any further leaks down the track. He worked in a very tight space, dug down to find the leak, fixed the problem, installed a pressure limiting valve, and backfilled everything properly. Really impressed with the service and the quality of the work. Would happily recommend Melbourne Plumbing and Drainage Solution.

Taylor installed a new hot water system to replace the old one in the house we purchased, fixed a clogged kitchen sink (was full of a shocking amount of grease from the previous owners), and replaced our laundry sink as well before we moved into the place we had just settled on. Really easy to deal with and just got on with it. Explained things in a way that actually made sense to a layperson like me. I had to reschedule a couple of times because of work and he was super understanding about it. Everything was done properly and cleaned up after. I’ve had a few bad experiences with plumbers before so I was a bit wary, but this was actually a really good experience for once and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest and experienced tradesperson.

RAJ from South Morang I am a pensioner and this has been my experience with Melbourne Plumbing and Drainage Solutions: I am very disappointed with the poor response and incomplete work left behind. The job: install two brand new smart toilets. Complete required information and photos provided, price received, job accepted. The plumber started the job on 11/2/26 but was not able to complete it, citing wrong part (incorrect trap), claiming a new one at additional cost was required and the job could only be done on another day,. In good faith, at his request, I made the complete payment on 11/2/26 expecting completion of service. Meanwhile the only toilet, partly installed, started to leak. Inspection revealed incorrect connection and loose seals. We were told it could be used temporarily and never expected these issues. This was to be fixed on 16/2/26. No show. 17/2/26. No show. Follow up revealed he was injured, but his colleague would attend on another day. It was understandable and I was considerate. I agreed, but had to postpone due to other issues. When I was free, I contacted them again to have the job completed. But Taylor said he would have to check his schedule before reverting to me. That was on 26/2/26 and I am yet to hear from him. I certainly expected better professionalism and commitment. Now, after waiting for four weeks, I was compelled to have the job completed by others, paying additional money. Yes, I AM disappointed.
